#PledgeLessPlastic for World Environment Day

World Environment Day celebrates and promotes environmental awareness and sustainability across the globe. This year we ask you to commit to reducing harmful plastics using #PledgeLessPlastic.

Make a pledge, host activities, and educate and empower others to reduce plastic waste in order to successfully beat plastic pollution. We want individuals and organisations to get involved and make a difference to our environment. Pledges can be small or mighty - everyone can do it and it all helps!

Engagement

The Society frequently engages with decision makers, influencers and partners from a wide spectrum of organisations and government bodies. This takes the form of our Policy work, Insights, Events and more.

We are constantly wanting to hear from our registered environmental professionals to find out what they want the Society to engage people on and to inform our engagements to ensure that the voice of environmental professionals is heard.

Chartered Accreditations

Having a professional registration from an organisation with a Royal Charter demonstrates an individual possesses and maintains the knowledge, skills and commitment required by their profession.  Professional registration is widely recognised as a mark to be trusted and carries a strong reputation for quality around the world. Professional standards are monitored and remain up to date through continuing professional development.  There is also a robust disciplinary process in place should something go wrong.

Registration sets Chartered Environmentalists apart from others working in their field. It establishes proven knowledge, experience and commitment to professional standards, and enhances career prospects.

Having Chartered status means that you are at the pinnacle of your profession.  When you work with a Chartered Professional you can expect them to meet the highest possible standards for their profession. Being a registered technician recognises your status as a professional within your field.

Being a Registered Environmental Technician (REnvTech) is about having the professional knowledge, experience and commitment to apply sustainable thinking throughout your daily working life.
